06:00 Departure from Valencia

Departure from Valencia is at 6:00 am. We meet at 05:45 in front of Mestalla (Avenida de Argon, 31)

09:00 Arrival at the Monasterio de Piedra park.

We arrive at Monasterio de Piedra around 10:00 am. Then you have 3 hours of free time to explore the historic park-garden of the Monasterio de Piedra.

14:00 - 16:00 Lunch

14:00 We will go to a nearby village (probably Calatayud) to have lunch or visit. If you don’t want to, you can stay in the monastery.

16:00 back to monastery

16:00 – 18:00 time to explore the Monasterio de Piedra. 

18:00 Heading back to Valencia

After a beautiful day, it is time to go back and head to bus to Valencia. We meet at the bus 15 minutes beforehand.

The history of the monastery dates back to 1186, when the king of Aragon Alfonso II donated the land to the monks of the monastery of Poblet. In 1203 they began to build the monastic buildings. In 1218 the monks occupied the monastery. In 1983 the monastery was declared a national historic and artistic monument, in 2009 it was declared a site of cultural interest. And in 2011 it was awarded the medal of tourist merit by the government of aragon.

How can you book the trip?

You can book on the website or at our office in Plaza Honduras, 26 from 09:30 to 14:30.

Do I have to book in advance or can I pay on the day of travel?

Yes, it is necessary to book in advance, as we cannot guarantee that there will be places available on that day.

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation policy: Until one week before, 100% refund in form of money/voucher whatever you prefer. From 1 week to 72 hours before  100% only in form of voucher. After 72 hours NO REFUND.

In case of medical emergency / Force Majeure (With justification) 24 hours before only voucher after NO REFUND.

Where does the bus leave from?

Normally our buses leave from Avenida Aragón 31 (Mestalla). However, after booking, you will receive all the details with the ticket by email (please check your spam folder in case you receive the email immediately after booking).
