The river Hiking + Camping (Optional)

If you enjoy hiking, water sports, swimming, cliff jumping, and meeting adventurous people like you, this is your trip! We will “hike IN the river.”

The trip is divided into two parts:

  • The first part is relatively easy, about 4 km long.
  • The second part is more challenging, covering approximately 2.5 km, with abseiling and swimming required.

The trek is of medium-high difficulty, so participants must be physically fit and know how to swim well. Most of the time, the water will reach our knees, but there will be pools to swim through. It’s recommended that you have hiking experience.

You also have the option to camp after the hike, surrounded by nature, with the river by your side. The temperature will be 35º during the day, and 10º at night.

On the first day, you will do cliff jumping at 2, 3, and 5 meters, and on the second day, 5 and 10 meters. The first day involves mostly hiking with a little swimming, while the second day will have more swimming.

Camping
Camping Area:

Facilities include drinking water, showers, restrooms, a café-bar, and parking.
The area features organic farming: seasonal vegetables grown ecologically with spring water and animals raised on-site.

About the Place:
Located about 100 km from Valencia, it’s truly in the middle of nowhere.
There’s no phone network or internet—only satellite connections work.
Apart from a small eco-tourism restaurant, nothing is available to buy.

Why We Recommend Ordering Lunch There:

We arrive around 11:00 and have an early lunch with food brought from home. Hiking starts at 12:00 and ends around 17:00, leaving us very hungry. In hot weather, stored food won’t last on the bus, so ordering lunch is ideal. Late Lunch Menu: 1 Bocadillo + 1 drink (beer/soda) + 1 fruit = 8 €. 😉
